I believe in living well and being kind, in warm hugs and wide smiles.
If I had to sum it up for you, I’d say that I’m a tea-drinking, Jesus-loving woman with a knack for organization and moving through to-do lists. My work is all about helping you to pursue a well-lived life– whatever that looks like for you– as I do the same. If I get to wear red lipstick while I do it, I consider that a win.
I have my hands in several cookie jars these days: I have my virtual assistant business for creatives that’s going strong after over five years and 800 projects completed. I also offer creative consulting calls for people who have a dream but aren’t sure how to make it a reality. That’s in addition to copywriting and inbox organization services that I offer.
When I’m not doing any of those things, you may find me helping women make space to hear from God about their health and wellness as a licensed The Wellness Revelation Facilitator, or working on writing devotional Bible studies to help you connect with God and engage with Scripture. Oh, and sometimes I sell these cute tees and tank tops, too.
But that’s more the work side of things.
and you and I both know that there is way more to life than just work.
So, on a personal note— I’m a child of God, a daughter, a sister to four siblings, and now Aunt KK to an adorable niece whose smiles light up my world. (I mean, have you seen her? She’s cute.) I try to live out my everyday adventures with warmth and kindness, and you should know that if you speak life and encouragement, you speak my language.
In my free time, you may find me exploring Indianapolis or having a good conversation with a friend. Either way, you’ll find me with a cup of tea in hand. I love a good road trip, laughing, and exploring cities or in nature. If you come over to my house, it’s likely I will feed you tacos.
Want to connect with me on the regular? Come say hi on Instagram! I’m @kktoday.
If you were to ask my friends…
(Since you can’t, I went ahead and asked them for you. Who better to tell you about me than people who would willingly hang out with me?)
If you want to know a little more…
My family teases me about the amount of times I’ve seen all the episodes of The Flash— but it’s not as many times as I’ve seen my all time favorite show, Psych, so I say it’s fine. ;)
It was during my visit to Ireland that my love affair with tea really blossomed. One of my favorites is Bewley’s Gold Blend, which I first experienced at Bewley’s in Dublin and have bought regularly for over 7 years now. If you need decaf like I do these days, they have a Decaf Blend that’s really good, too. Do yourself a favor: after you steep it, add a splash of (almond) milk and just a bit of honey.
On Saturdays, I set my alarm for 7am so I can get over to a fitness class taught by a friend of mine. It’s become a regular thing that I love to do and, when I can, I go again on Monday nights, too. I really believe that our bodies were made to move and for me, it’s a fun “get to,” not a “have to.”
This year, I’m spending time prioritizing play and fun. So far, this has included everything from building a snowman to reading a fiction book to hanging out with friends. I’m looking forward to more little adventures, fun and creativity as I make play a priority in 2019!
